We’ve been serving southern Indiana since 2009, when Fred Kimmel launched Brighter Way Electric.

Fred’s father worked in the electrical equipment industry for decades, and Fred often helped him as a young man. After Fred left the Army, he earned a mechanical engineering degree, and later, a Master’s Degree in business operations. He spent many years working as an engineer for Cummins, and then many more with the same company in management positions.

The next generation of Kimmel family electrical business was born when Fred started Brighter Way Electric in 2009 with his sons Corey and Mike. They quickly grew the business and brought on a small crew.
